It's Getting Out of Hand

I've been so awful at updating my blog...and it's made it that much harder to get back up to speed without feeling overwhelmed that I may leave some important details out. Hence, delaying the update.

Basicallllyyyy...the last few weekends have been blissful!  D and I have had minimal plans and have really enjoyed getting things done around our flat, running errands, cooking, and walking around our neighborhood.
Since being back in London we've been swimming together every weekend and it's been great!

We recently tried a new spot in Chelsea called Tanya's. It's one of the few organic/raw/vegan restaurants in London and it's pretty delicious!! It costs a pretty penny, but you're paying for it's uniqueness and incomparable healthy food selection. It will have to be a special occasion type place...
That same weekend we took a walk to Hyde park and our garden across the street.  It was a beautiful day and D wanted to take some pregnancy pics.
Last weekend we carved pumpkins and celebrated Halloween in Primrose Hill with the crew.  I ingested more calories in one sitting than I have in a really, really long time.
On Saturday KC, T, D, and I went to the Tower of London to see the poppy installation.  Each poppy represents a fallen British soldier in the First World War.  We then pushed our way through thousands of tourists as we headed to Borough Market for some snacks and culture :) Eventually, we ended up in Shoreditch and indulged in an amazing burger!!  Not sure how D and I made it to the gym for our swim after the meat and french fry induced food coma, but we did!!! Spent the rest of the night relaxing and watching TV.
T didn't have to wait too much longer for labor...she had BabyH just two days later :)

Sunday consisted of church, the gym, making another delicious slow cooker meal, and organizing the baby's things.  Our London friends have given us a bassinet, baby seat/swing, a bath, and clothes that they aren't using anymore.  We are soo super appreciative of their generosity. These unexpected thoughtful donations have been a big help because D and I didn't bring a lot back to London from America.  Since we'll only be here for a few months after the baby is born, we thought we'd try to get by with as little as possible. Thanks to our friends, we're making out pretty darn well.

We have really been loving our weekends!!!!!!! For the past 10+ years it has just been D and me. In a couple of months we'll be adding a super special addition to our family, but for now, we're trying to soak up the time we have left just the two of us before our names change to Mommy & Daddy.

I waited too long to post again...Another weekend has gone by.  Since all of that ^^^ T&KC had their baby girl!! We spent Friday and Saturday with them...staying out of the way, but helping where we could.  It's been so fun to experience this amazing time with them. Sunday night D and I went to the Cowboy/Jaquar game at Wembley Stadium with D's coworkers.  We had a really great time.  Monday night, again with coworkers, we had dinner at Hunan (our favorite Chinese restaurant in London).

I was 31wks on Sunday.  Time is flying by.  Haven't taken our weekly picture yet, so I'll leave you with the 30wk pic.  Only two more months until our due date.  Mentally prepared to be late, but wouldn't be upset if our little babe was curious about the world and decided to come early.  Time will tell.
